Selfridges continues to evolve their services in store with the launch of an aftercare service that provides bespoke repair for shoes, bags and leather goods. The Restory, provides aftercare for luxury goods, has opened on Level 4 offering customers a new location to take their bags, shoes or luggage to be repaired and revived by their in-house team of artisans.
The on-demand service brings together talented artisans whose aim is to make you fall in love with your favourite pieces all over again.
Customers are invited to drop off any items in-store where they will be collected by The Restory and taken to their atelier. Following a physical assessment customers will receive a bespoke quote of recommended services available where they are able to edit, decline or remove services. Once the services have been approved work will commence and be completed by hand.
The Restory offers a wide range of services for items such as handbags, from colour and leather restoration to specialist cleaning and re-stitching as well as remaking handles. Their experts can transform shoes with simple repairs such as recovering heels and replacing soles to restoring and removing scuffs and scratches as well as unique techniques to remove even the toughest stains.
