Bennetts Hill bar and restaurant, The Lost and Found has now re-opened its doors after a two month refurbishment.
The Grade II listed building has undergone a major redesign and now showcases a stunning new interior featuring a mezzanine area, new coffee bar, open-style kitchen and new bar area.
There is now more space for drinkers and diners, seating up to 222 people with the ground floor bar being moved to the side of the building, allowing more seats for diners and a brand new upstairs bar area.
Along with the new look, they have created a new menu of food and cocktails.
New dishes include chicken Milanese, slow cooked beef ragu pappardelle, Wagyu beef burger topped with caramelised onions, crispy bacon and Monterey Jack cheese with smoky chipotle ketchup as well as their hand-finished pizzas, made fresh in their new pizza oven, ranging from peri peri chicken, roasted butternut squash with goat’s curd and kale pesto and salami pepperoni with ‘Nduja.
There are now some tasty offers in the week to take advantage of including 50% off all their “From the Josper” dishes every Monday, Bottomless Prosecco Brunch (£22pp) every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm and afternoon tea (£18.95pp)
While you’re dining/drinking, there will be live music from Thursday to Sunday to create a social atmosphere.
A spokeswoman for The Lost and Found said: “The Bennetts Hill branch is the flagship eatery of the Lost and Found group but we hadn’t invested in the site since its launch in 2015.
“We’ve spent more on the investment than we did when we first opened. But all the changes are all in keeping with the period features of this building.”
