Poet’s messages of positivity at Grand Central Birmingham

Bullring & Grand Central has teamed up with Northampton-based poet, James McInerney, to display positive quotes throughout the Grand Central mall.

Five hoardings throughout the centre, which is home to the likes of The White Company, Kiehl’s and Foyles, have been unveiled containing messages of positivity from The Poetry Project, which was created by James in 2018.

The aim of the project is to bring communities together with messages of hope and positivity, and has been showcased at various locations across the world.

Danielle Bozward, Marketing Manager at Bullring & Grand Central, said: “We’re so happy to team up with James to host pieces from The Poetry Project here at Bullring & Grand Central. We hope the uplifting quotes and messages brighten the day of our customers and put a smile on their face!”

James McInerney added: “It is exciting to see the positive and empowering quotes from the project on display in a colourful way. We are honoured to collaborate with Bullring & Grand Central. We hope that the words will help and heal all who see them.”

The five pieces of artwork are now in place at Grand Central, find out more about The Poetry Project by following James on social media @millsmc07 and @poetryproject08.
