Nocturnal Animals is welcoming a new restaurant concept – evolving from the playful pan-Asian food the restaurant has served to date; the new concept is a darker, more twisted interpretation of Asian food from chef Alex Claridge. Kisama will serve modern Japanese food with eclectic twists.
Kisama is a gleefully rebellious take on tradition – with a menu using world-class Japanese produce including Japanese wagyu. The jewel in its crown is a £90 14-course menu, also available with a paired cocktail and sake flight. Diners can also choose from à la carte set menu and shorter taster menus for those looking to enjoy a more casual taste of Kisama.
Upstairs in the Nocturnal Animals bar a relaxed menu of sushi, bao and other Asian small plates will be available Tuesday to Saturday for lighter lunch and snacks. Nocturnal Animals bar itself is also set to launch its second cocktail menu next week following on from the critically acclaimed ‘Fruits gone wild’ menu the venue opened with.
