Michelle Thompson (Advanced Educator)
Michelle is an advanced educator at Francesco Group Academy Stafford and trains all of the Group’s future stylists including curly hair & Arfo-Caribbean specialists. Michelle has won many awards over the last couple of years including Afro Caribbean Hairdresser of the Year 2012 and runner up in 2013!
She has personally trained all of the specialist stylists at the House of Fraser salon.
Shalani Williams (Senior Afro Specialist)
Shalani is the salon’s senior Afro specialist, she has worked with FG for five years where she has worked alongside award-winning stylist Michelle Thomson, assisting her on various photo-shoots. Within Francesco Group Birmingham, Shalani leads a team of three very talented stylists covering a wide range of conditioning treatments, relaxers, perms and on trend edgy haircuts.
Aileen Francis (Braiding Specialist)
Aileen has been hairdressing for 10 years. She joined Francesco Group in 2011, where she has worked alongside award winning Michelle Thomson and gained numerous cutting skills. Aileen has great passion in natural hair textures, creating a variety of looks, which include twist outs, dreadlocks, braiding, cornrows and weaves.
Alicia McLaughlin (Stylist)
Alicia has been in the industry for five years. She trained with the Francesco Group advance academy for 4 years, where she has the opportunity to work alongside Michelle Thomson. Inspired by Michelle, Alicia has developed creative flare that is demonstrated in her cutting skills. Showcasing her creativity on a national stage, Alicia will be entering L’Oreal Colour Trophy Mizani Catwalk Competition later this year.
Gia Kang (Stylist)
Gia has been hairdressing for a year and half and has built great confidence in Afro Caribbean hair. Gia has been training through the company’s advance academy and receives in-salon training from Senior Stylist Shalani Williams. Gia is very confident in giving clients insight into products and choosing the correct relaxer to suit varying needs.
