Jazzlines presents Shivraj Singh at Hall 5, The ICC Birmingham on Friday, 15 November 2019. Birmingham jazz double bassist, Shivraj has come through Town Hall Symphony Hall’s talent development programme and studied with musicians from around the world and at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Shivraj says: “Town Hall Symphony Hall played a major part in my development as a young musician. Just by the simple fact of the connections and opportunities they’ve given me and the teachers they’ve put me in touch with. The efficiency of teaching you how to be a good musician but also the stuff outside the music like how to promote yourself is really important if you want to be a musician”.

The Olly Chalk Trio, plus John O’Gallagher, perform a Jazzlines’ gig at Hall 5, The ICC Birmingham on Friday, 29 November 2019.
