Hourglass, renowned for its luxury performance makeup, has launched its first retail counter in the region. Located in Harvey Nichols Birmingham, the new Hourglass counter features an assortment of must-have products from the California-based brand.
With a commitment to reinventing luxury cosmetics, Hourglass has carved a niche for itself as a top performance cosmetics brand. The range features products with cutting-edge ingredients and formulas; from the bestselling Veil Mineral Primer, considered an industry standout, to the groundbreaking Ambient Lighting, that mimics different flattering light sources to transform the look of skin using photo-luminescent technology.
The collection also features luminous colour products for eyes, cheeks and lips as well as custom-designed makeup brushes made from high-grade, PETA-approved Taklon bristles. The majority of products are developed without parabens, sulphates and gluten.
Hourglass was founded in 2004 by industry veteran Carisa Janes, who was one of the earliest exponents of fusing skincare technology with high-quality makeup. In just over a decade the brand has grown into one of the most sought-after in the US.
