Fast-food Thai restaurant, Thai Express will be steaming its way into Grand Central next week.
Bringing back the buzz of Bangkok to Birmingham, diners can expect to sample from a delectable and authentic full Thai menu, cooked only by specially trained Thai Express Wok chefs. There will be an open kitchen to allow for live food preparation, providing a feast for the eyes and the palette.
Thai Express prides itself on using only the freshest ingredients to create their star dishes including their signature pad thai, Tofu satay stir-fry, Coconut Tom Yum and their recent finger lickin’ invention of Thairacha Chicken Wings.
Diners are able to customise their own dishes to their liking with an unlimited garnish of crushed peanuts, lime and Sriracha sauce.
Having opened its first location in Guildford 5 years ago, the Thai Express chain has grown in popularity and Birmingham is set to be their 5th restaurant.
Thai Express is ideal for those who are on the go but wanting something a little different. Prepared in under two minutes, there’s no comprise on taste and price with all dishes being priced at under £8 a plate.
Thai Express also caters for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free and uses halal meat, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Thai Express Grand Central is due to open Saturday, June 9th with a Pad Thai Noodle Box giveaway for the first 100 customers through the door.
UK Operations Director, Uzma Pattani says: “We are super excited to be opening our Flagship Thai Express restaurant in Grand Central this June. It’s a whole new look designed specifically for our UK clientele. Birmingham was the ideal choice because of its diversity and strong commercial centre. The buzz of Grand Central is a perfect fit for our brand,”
“We wanted to ensure we are catering to multiple demographics, ie: commuters, city workers, students and families. We decided to create a welcoming environment, with space for customers to take a seat, relax, or have the option to grab and go from our two separate wok stations.” adds UK Managing Director, Sachin Pattani.
Michaela Moore, General Manager of Bullring & Grand Central said: “We’re delighted to welcome Thai Express to the centre. Our food offering continues to go from strength to strength to complement our existing fantastic shopping offering, creating a true retail and leisure destination in the heart of the city centre. Thai Express offers various traditional dishes providing our customers with freshly cooked quick meals. It’s exciting to be able to add another fabulous cuisine to our growing list of establishments!”
