The day of love, known as Valentine’s Day is just under one week away!

There’s plenty of cuisines in the city centre to whet your appetite. To help you pick, we’ve rounded up restaurants that offer the perfect intimate setting and something extra special this Valentines.

We strongly recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment on the night.

Pinocchio Italiano

Located in Birmingham’s luxury lifestyle destination, the Mailbox, Pinocchio Italiano oozes class and style with its interior and offers a menu to match. Just for Valentine’s, Pinocchio are serving a 3 course ‘San Valentino’ set menu featuring heart-shaped duck pate, ravioli, sirloin steak and many more mouth-watering dishes. There will be a rose on the table for every couple, because who said Italians weren’t romantic?

The Lost & Found

Whisk your loved one away to a captivating botanical hideaway in the heart of the city. The Lost & Found is a Grade II listed building bursting with Victorian charm and known for shaking up some unique cocktail concoctions. For this special day of lurve, they have teamed up with Lanique Drinks to bring you the perfect Valentins menu, combined with rose spirit cocktails and a delicious 3 course menu for £29.95.

Sabai Sabai

Forget ordering takeaway in at home, spoil the one you love with a meal out at award-winning Sabai Sabai. Experience the true taste of Thailand with fresh Thai curries, wok fry dishes and noodles as well as meat, seafood and bird options. If you’ve both got a sweet tooth, you’re in luck here. Sink your teeth into their Banana Fritters, Thai Pandan Leaf Pancakes or Coconut Panna Cotta.

One of the only Spanish restaurants in the city centre, Amantia is best known for their tempting tapas, flavoursome paella and jugs of sangria. Share the love this Valentine’s with their special Valentine’s tapas set menu for £25 per person. If you want the full Spanish Valentine’s dinner experience, Amantia are also putting on a very special Flamenco and tapas evening on Valentine’s Day.

Fumo – Selfridges

If you and your partner want a meal to remember then Fumo at Selfridges is the go-to spot. Located on Level 4 in the iconic department store, you will get stunning views overlooking the Bullring. Enjoy a taster 3 course set menu, complete with a glass of prosecco while soaking up the luxurious surroundings. To add to the mood of love, there will be a live band playing romantic songs while you dine.

Join them ‘after hours’ from 8pm-10pm.
