Everyman Barbers have gone all-out to mark their 10th anniversary in Birmingham city centre with a major refurbishment and new mobile app launch costing £150,000.
The long-standing barbers on 19 Temple Street have been serving local businesses and student communities with haircuts and shaves for a decade, building a reputation as one of the city’s best barbers.
“We love being in Birmingham as it’s where we started out,” says Managing Director, Noel Gilronan.
“We’ve invested a small fortune in the refit and we’re really pleased with the outcome – we want to give customers more reasons to come back beyond getting a great haircut.”
Thick wooden mirrors offset new racing green two-tone leather barbers’ chairs that have been stylishly emblazoned with the trademark E logo. Additionally, USB sockets have been installed on all barbers’ sections so customers can charge up while they enjoy a free beer with their service.
The new Everyman Barbers mobile app – available on iOS and Android – rewards customers for collecting digital stamps with 50% off every 6th haircut, while the popular Everycam, which allows customers to check how busy a store is or to see if their favourite barber is working, is also available on the app.
“People rarely forget their phones so they won’t miss out on their rewards for loyalty…we have to stay with the times.” Gilronan says, adding that modernising was a “key feature” of the 10th anniversary, as they prepare to open two further Midlands stores next month in Derby (9th March) and Leicester (30th March).
Student discounts, corporate discounts, live sports, free wifi, gaming stations and complimentary beer are also available.
