The new Americana bar and diner, Buffalo & Rye is now open on Bennets Hill.
Specialising in rye whiskeys, smoked pit meats, quality burgers and hotdogs and all day brunch menu, the exciting new venue has an intimate laidback vibe, bringing a taste of Americana to Birmingham. Specialty cocktails are also set to be popular, with modern and quirky takes on classics.
Headed up by general manager Tom Winter-Nolan, the Buffalo and Rye menu has been created by Birmingham born head chef Mike Lacey who joins the team after spending 10 years working in London. All the meat will be sourced from award-winning Warwickshire butchers Aubrey Allen apart from the hotdog frankfurters which come from a rare breed meat supplier.
The Bennetts Hill site has been transformed over the past two months, with a stripped back, urban décor. The restaurant will cater for up to 50 diners and takes bookings for diners of six or more.
