To shop successfully, you need some fuel and by fuel, we mean food! In a city centre ram-packed with shops, finding somewhere to eat can be tricky when you’re not sure on what you want to eat.
If you’re lacking inspiration or not sure what lunch offers are available, we have given our opinion on places you must try while you’re in Birmingham.
The Stable
Specialising in pizza and cider with a relaxed vibe & interior. The Stable offers a lunch menu where you can get weekday pizza and wraps for £6.50. If pizza or wraps don’t take your fancy, they also serve ploughmans, ‘baps’ and salads. This menu is only available Monday-Friday from 12pm-3pm.

Buffalo & Rye
Offering all American food in the centre of Birmingham, Buffalo & Rye captures the essence of the culture with their delicious dirty burgers, gourmet dogs and over-loaded milkshakes. They don’t offer a lunch menu, however, all their food is reasonably priced which makes up for that. Tables are first come, first serve.

Bodega
Sitting right next door to Buffalo & Rye, with their quirky interior and freshly made authentic South American food, Bodega serves small and large plates of tasty delights. They also have Taco Tuesdays where you can try their tasty tacos with a mouth-watering tequila cocktail for £10! We recommend you book a table as they can get rather busy at peak lunch times.

La Vera
Known for their wood-fire cooked pizzas at great prices, with the dearest being £7.50. La Vera is heaven for you pizza lovers and if you’re in a rush then that’s no problem as their pizzas are cooked in 2 minutes, 30 seconds, now how’s that for service?

4023
A tiny takeaway and café, 4023 serves traditional North-eastern Mediterranean and Greek food. Their food is freshly made to order and is highly recommended by the locals. Their menu consists of juicy meats and vegetable platters served with either a salad or pitta bread. Quick, cheap and fresh.

With a range of oriental dishes on offer, Wagamamas is the one stop place to eat fresh, delicious Asian food. To try a bit of everything, ordering sides is a great way of doing this and perfect for lunch portions.

Ask Italian
Everything you know and love about Italian food, ASK Italian offers just that. They provide ‘pronto lunches’ which comprises of hot bruschettes, paninis, pizzas and salads with quick service and good value for money of £7.50. Topping that off with a free expresso shot to finish your meal the Italian way. Served until 5pm.
