Where to eat with your children this half term

Eating out with the kids doesn’t have to be problematic if you plan ahead.  There’s plenty of choice in Birmingham city centre so here’s our list of family-friendly restaurants that will ensure you and the children are happy whilst out shopping this half term.

ASK Italian – Kids can get a starter, main course, dessert and a babyccino for £6.95. Check out the menu here

Bella Italia – 3 courses, drinks and nibbles. They offer small and larger portions of their kids menu, perfect for all ages. £5.95 & £7.95. Check out the menu here

Cosy Club – Offer breakfast, dinner and desserts for kids – prices range from £4.95-£5.75. Check out the menu here

Jamie’s Italian – Available in two sizes, little kids and big kids – all served with a fresh shake-me salad and drink of your choice. £6.50 & £6.95. Check out the menu here 

Handmade Burger Co – Offer a junior menu for under 12s with six different burgers to choose from. However, if your little one isn’t satisfied with just a burger, they offer another meal deal which includes any junior burger, any junior side and soft drink. Check out the menu here

Pizza Hut – Offer a little hero & big heroes menu with a main including pizzas, pasta or chicken, dessert and drink. Prices start at £5.29. Check out their menu here

Amantia -Have a kids menu that has a mixture of classic children’s meals & some Spanish alternatives, priced at £6.25. Check out their menu here

Byron – Offer a mini Byron menu – choose a main, side and drink for £6.50. They offer extras such as milkshakes (£2.35) and dessert (£2) for a small additional cost. Check out their menu here

Wagamamas – Offer small portions of their main adult’s menu. Check out their menu here

Nandos – Have a special menu for the Nandinos. You choose one main, pick a marinade, two dinos sides and dessert for £5.65. It’s for under 10’s only. Check out their menu here

Cafe Rouge – Offer a kids menu that includes a petite starter, main, dessert and soft drink all for £6.95. Check out their menu here

Ed’s Diner – Offer junior bites for their customers aged 10 and under. Choose a main, side and drink for £5.95. You can upgrade your drink to a mini milkshake for just £1. Check out their menu here 

The Stable – Have a kids menu with a selection of pizzas, sides and desserts. You can make it a meal deal for £7.50 that includes pizza, salad bites and apple juice or soda.

Giraffe – Kids eat free from Monday to Friday when an adult meal is purchased. At the weekend, prices range from £3.95 to £5.75 for mains with sides. Check out their menu here

Gourmet Burger Kitchen – Have a junior menu for children under 12 for £6.95. Choose from one of three burgers, a side and drink. You can add a dessert for just £1.

Carluccios – Kids get a starter, main and drink for  £6.95. Kids can choose to make their own pasta, selecting their favourite shape and sauce or choose a pasta dish off the main kid’s menu.

Pizza Express – Kids can enjoy three courses for just £6.95 which include baked dough balls and a side salad, pizza or pasta, dessert and Bambinoccino. Check out their menu here

John Lewis – Offer a children’s menu for those aged 10 and under in their restaurant. There is a choice of half jacket potato (£3.75) with a choice of filling or fish fingers and chips (£4.75)
