Six Eight Kafé wins “Best Independent Coffee Shop” award again
6/8 Temple Row, Central Birmingham: Independent coffee shop Six Eight Kafé won the prestigious What’s On award for Best Independent Coffee Shop in Birmingham 2017.
The artisan coffee shop has already become a leader of the independent coffee scene in the Midlands by winning the “Best Coffee Shop in Birmingham” in 2014 and then won the “Best Independent Cafe in Birmingham in 2016”.
“We are so excited to win yet another award” said manager Erin Greenhill, ” considering that we are a small independent business. The competition is getting extremely fierce as we are surrounded by much larger newer stores and national chains. Throughout the changes in the Midlands coffee scene, we have continued to focus on quality and have been rewarded by the public yet again. We are genuinely honoured about this award”.
Six Eight Kafé has come to national prominence as their baristas have won the Northern Ireland Barista Championships (2012), Best Newcomer in the UK (2014) and reached the semi-finals of the United Kingdom Barista Championships in 2012 and 2014.
