New Lebanese restaurant bringing a taste of Middle East to Grand Central
A souk-style Lebanese restaurant is set to open in Grand Central this March.
Comptoir Libanais first opened its doors in 2008 in London and has delighted diners with wholesome, healthy Lebanese food in a relaxed setting, at an affordable price.
Comptoir Libanais means ‘Lebanese counter’ and that’s exactly what is to be expected in the new Birmingham restaurant. Diners will not only be able to enjoy the taste of the Middle East but also buy authentic ingredients, homeware and gifts as well as branded cookbooks in the restaurant shop.
The new restaurant opening in Grand Central will mark the first Comptoir to open in the West Midlands, having already got branches in Manchester, London, Oxford and Leeds. It will be located next to Indian street food specialists Mowgli and will have space for around 100 covers.
Diners can expect mezzes, wraps, tagines and grills on the menu. Comptoir will be serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. All dishes will be available as takeaway options too.
