Food with Benefits – A Must for Wholesome Food Lovers

If you’re looking for wholesome, healthy and tasty food along with great coffee and juiceFood with Benefits is the place for you. The Navigation Street Eatery and Coffee Shop has recently rebranded from its former name ‘Coffee Lounge’ and sits opposite the entrance to New Street Station, offering healthy breakfasts & lunches.

The business has been independently trading at its current location for over 7 years, whilst Food with Benefits has been operating since April this year at its current location and has gone from strength to strength with a growing menu and loyal customer base.

The business sells a variety of coffees, ranging from Cappuccinos, Latte, Flat White, Americano, Mocha and more. The team has also developed a range of smoothies, including Peanut Butter & Banana, Weightloss Smoothie, Strawberry Honey Smoothie and a Cinnamon Pear Smoothie –  all nutritional and made with fresh fruit.

Food with Benefits also provide a range of breakfast and lunch sandwiches on sour dough bread – a much healthier alternative to standard bread as it keeps you fuller for longer and prevents bloating. There is also Super Food Salad and Creole Chicken Salad. The delicious Ciabatta sandwiches, range from Mature Cheddar, Hummus, Creole Chicken, Classic Club and Ham Salad.

When asked asked about his finest moment since opening, Chef Andy Dowd said, “Customers have responded really positively  to our freshly made items and expanding menu. Being an independent business has allowed us to adapt to trends in healthy eating habits and customers needs so we can evolve our menu appropriately to keep our customers happy. We’re inspired by providing freshly made healthy food that is prepared on site and keeps you full and satisfied, something that is currently a unique offering in birmingham city centre.”

With free Wifi, meeting rooms and an Early Bird Special of £1.00 for selected hot drinks from 6:00-7:30 am each day, Food with Benefits at the Coffee Lounge is the perfect place to stop by in Birmingham city centre for a tasty eat-in or takeaway treat.
