Wok to Walk, a fast food chain specialising in wok fried Asian food will be opening on New Street in March.
The company agreed a ten-year lease on 109 New Street with landlord, Hortons’ Estate Limited.
Offering the best Asian cuisine ingredients, Wok to Walk allows you to design your own wok from the base to your sauce, depending on your lifestyle and taste. Ideal for vegans and vegetarians.
The Birmingham restaurant will be the tenth in the UK, adding to existing restaurants in Bristol, Cardiff and London.
Wok to Walk opened its first restaurant in Amsterdam in 2004. Today, the franchise group has more than 70 outlets around the world.
Steven Tommy from Hortons’ Estate said: “109 New Street occupies a prominent position in the heart of Birmingham’s retail and leisure district and just a stone’s throw from New Street station.
“This area of city is enjoying a new lease of life thanks to the number of new bars, restaurants and shops. Wok to Walk offers something a little bit different and will be a great addition to the fast food mix.”
